Assalamu alaykum, I am interested in studying Arabic (I currently do not know any Arabic) and I've noticed this article is old so I'd like to ask if you still recommend learning Arabic from IbnJabal?

Wa alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullah,
I would definitely recommend Level 1.
After that, I would recommend studying a commentary of the Ajurumiyyah with a teacher.
Wassalaam,
Mahdi
